Health Law Symposium Held at Our University

A "Health Law Symposium" was organized by the Faculty of Medicine of our University to discuss legal issues in the field of health. Bandırma Chief Public Prosecutor Cüneyt Demirdaş, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Celalettin Yanık and Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Serel, Deputy Mayor of Bandırma Adil Levent Coşkun, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Nureddin Cengiz, provincial and district protocol, representatives from the health and legal sectors, academic and administrative staff and our students showed great participation.

In the symposium, which took place in three sessions, the first session titled “Compensation, Responsibility and Personal Data in Health Law” was chaired by Balıkesir Bar Association President Atty. Erol Kayabay, while Prof. Dr. Ertan DEMİRKAPI, Prof. Dr. Pervin SOMER, Dr. Instructor Member Çağlar Burak BURTAN and Atty. Sunay AKYILDIZ made their presentations on the subject.
